SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

ASiC is offering Senior High School which aims at continuously providing high quality education to become global leaders. Our SHS students will be trained by expert faculty, industry practitioners and nationally certified instructors. Our SHS curricula are focused on relevant industry courses to ensure employability, better career options and valued credentials for student’s future opportunities and lifelong learning experiences. Our SHS programs will utilize varied delivery options such as eLearning platform with appropriate supports and quality services that are suitable to meet the individual needs of Grades 11 and 12 students.

ASiC Senior High School courses will be the model for student’s lifelong access opportunities in pursuing higher education and/or further training. This includes a variety of academic options and industry work-experiences and credit transfer agreements.

ACADEMIC TRACK

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
This strand prepares the student to take up course in Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, Natural Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Science, Architecture and Engineering.

ABM (Accountancy, Business and Management) Strand
This strand will allow the student to take up course in college like Business Administration, Tourism, Accountancy, Business Entrepreneurship, Economics and Management in college.

HUMSS (Humanities and Social Sciences) Strand
This strand prepares the student to take up college course in Journalism, Education, Philosophy, Social Sciences and Communication Arts.

General Academic Strand (GAS)
This strand is for students who are not yet decided what course to take up in college. The student might be given a bridging program to assess his/her preparedness to the course he/she will choose in college.

Technical and Vocational Livelihood (TVL) Track

Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Strand

Specialization in Computer Systems Servicing (CSS)

This strand consists of competencies that must possess to enable to install and configure computers systems, set-up computer networks and servers and to maintain and repair computer systems and networks.

Specialization in Computer Programming (CP)

This strand focuses on computer systems and programming, database systems, web designs, operating systems and software applications.

Home Economics (HE) Strand

Specialization in Hotel Operations (HO)

This strand is designed for the student to enhance the knowledge and skills on providing housekeeping, food and beverage, wine services to hotels, motels, clubs, hospitals, resorts, dormitories and luxury liners. The student is also expected to conduct the process of making a reservation, registering and checking-in and checking-out a guest in commercial accommodation establishments. Lastly, this course will develop the skills of the student to manage and assist the tourists from the day of arrival up to the day of departure and other related travel services.
